Gin, Cascadia Aperitif, Triple Sec, Sparkling wine. A cocktail inspired by the west coast made with our local apéritif. It is the west coast cousin to a French 75 with its local flair. I find this cocktail is perfect for a spring afternoon.

This is a cocktail of medium difficulty that brings together the sweetness of the
Apéritifs Cascadia and the crisp notes from the sparkling wine.
Ingredients

1 oz (30 mL) Gin / Ampersand Distillery

0.75 oz (22 mL) Apéritifs Cascadia / Esquimalt

0.25 oz (7.5 mL) Triple Sec / Quadruple Sec - Sons of Vancouver

0.5 oz (15 mL) Lemon Juice
-
0.25 oz (7.5 mL) Rich 2:1 Simple Syrup

3 oz (90 mL) Sparkling wine / Charme de L'ile - Unsworth
Directions
Shake all ingredients over ice in a shaker (except the sparkling wine). Double strain into a flute and top with sparkling wine. Garnish with a thin lemon twist curled into the glass.
