SHIPPING

What does it cost to ship?

$9 CAD Flat-rate shipping for anywhere in BC for any quality of bottles, and anywhere in Canada for merch!

**During winter months - November - February***
For all provinces outside of BC (excluding Ontario - see below!) we often need to ship via temperature-controlled trucks with ATS to ensure our product doesn't freeze. We charge a $25 CAD Flat-rate for this (but in all transparency, it costs us much more than that to ship this way.) 

Do you ship outside Canada?

For bottles: Nope, sorry! Canada only! ...Excluding Ontario (but as of July 2026 - coming soon!)

For posters: Yup! We now ship to the US and Europe!

Why don't you ship to Ontario?

There have been some exciting changes and we're currently working on getting registered with the LCBO to be able to sell our products directly to Ontario customers! Sign up for our newsletter to get notified when it all goes live :)

When will I get my order?

We try our very best to pack orders and ship on the next business day, but sometimes life gets in the way and it takes a day or two extra. 

BC: Upon fulfilment, usually delivered within 1-3 business days.

Outside BC: Upon fulfilment, usually delivered within 3-10 business days.

Can I come to the winery and purchase bottles to go?

Not at the moment... It's just Quinn and Michela running the show and with a toddler and another babe on the way we've had to reduce our bottle shop availability for the time being.

Can I pickup my online order from the winery in Esquimalt?

Not right now, likely again in the future!

GENERAL QUESTIONS

How should I store my vermouth?

Unopened at room temp is fine. If storing for longer than 6 months, cellar temperature is better (7C-17C).

Once opened store in the fridge and consume with 6 months.

But don't worry if you opened it and left it on the counter for awhile - it's honestly still fine - the flavours will just get a bit dulled and muted. It won't be at it's best, but it'll still make a pretty killer Negroni.

How does ordering online work?

You can place an order for delivery to your home through our online store. All orders are shipped via Canada Post or we delivery ourselves locally within 20km of the winery. On delivery, you must show ID (19+ in BC) before Canada Post will release the parcel to you. If you are not home it will be brought to the nearest post office for pick-up.

Do you have a tasting room?

We do not have a tasting room...yet. ;)

A bottle broke in my shipment. What now?

Send me an email! (michela@esquimaltvermouth.ca) as soon as you see an issue with your order. We will either refund the cost of the bottle, or replace the bottle in question. Please attach a photo so that we can investigate the issue further.
