FAQ
SHIPPING
What does it cost to ship?
$12 CAD Flat-rate shipping for anywhere in Canada (excluding Ontario) for any quality of bottles! **During the Canada Post Strike, we will be shipping via Purolator**Do you ship outside Canada?
Nope. Canada only! ...Excluding Ontario
Why don't you ship to Ontario?
Due to Ontario's Provincial legislation, wineries in BC and other provinces are not permitted to ship wine to Ontario, despite Ontario being in the same country. If you would like this changed, we highly recommend contacting your Member of Provincial Parliament. It sucks, I know, but if we ship to Ontario we could face up to $250k in fines and jail time. Sorry, but your order isn't worth the risk, so please do get in touch with your government representative if you want these rules changed.
When will I get my order?
If you order before noon your order will ship same day. If you order after noon, your order will ship next day.
BC: Usually delivered within 1-3 business days.
Outside BC: Usually delivered within 1-7 business days.

GENERAL QUESTIONS
How should I store my vermouth?Unopened at room temp is fine. If storing for longer than 6 months, cellar temperature is better (7C-17C).
Once opened store in the fridge and consume with 6 months.
But don't worry if you opened it and left it on the counter for awhile - it's honestly still fine - the flavours will just get a bit dulled and muted. It won't be at it's best, but it'll still make a pretty killer Negroni.
How does ordering online work? You can place an order for delivery to your home through our online store. All orders are shipped via Canada Post or we delivery ourselves locally within 20km of the winery. On delivery, you must show ID (19+ in BC) before Canada Post will release the parcel to you. If you are not home it will be brought to the nearest post office for pick-up.
Do you have a tasting room?We do not have a tasting room...yet. ;)
A bottle broke in my shipment. What now?
Send me an email! (quinn@esquimaltvermouth.ca) as soon as you see an issue with your order. We will either refund the cost of the bottle, or replace the bottle in question. Please attach a photo so that we can investigate the issue further.
