The Adonis

Rosso Vermouth, Fino Sherry. A few weeks ago I saw @anderserickson had made two very similar cocktails, The Bamboo and the Adonis. He did make his own version of them by adding some bitters, but I wanted to try the original Adonis. Or at least what the internet says is the original. Just Fino Sherry and Sweet Vermouth. Its pretty good, I can fully understand putting bitters into it though.

Adonis

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz ( 45 mL) Fino Sherry / Lustau

  • 1.5 oz ( 45 mL) Rosso Vermouth / Esquimalt

Directions

  1. Stir ingredients over ice until well chilled, strain into a chilled coupe glass and enjoy! A dash or two of Rootside Orange Bitters would also be nice here
