Negroni Sbagliato Recipe - What happens when you mess up a Negroni?

Bitter Red, Rosso Vermouth and Sparkling Wine. Some say the Negroni is fool-proof. We'll we sure are glad someone buggered this one up! The Negroni Sbagliato (Italian for 'mistaken') came into existence in Milan in 1972 when a busy bartender, by the name of Mirko Stocchetto, accidentally added sparkling wine to a negroni instead of gin. The result? A wonderfully bitter and refreshing spritz you'll be mistakenly making time and time again.

This one in particular has been dubbed the E-Town Mistake by Sherwood Cafe & Bar in Victoria, BC.
