Gin, Dry Vermouth, Maraschino and Aromatic Bitters. This is a variation of the classic Martinez cocktail recipe. In this case, we are substituting dry vermouth for sweet vermouth and adding some floral bitters. This brings out the lighter, brighter flavours of spring. This is a spirit-forward cocktail with just four ingredients!

Making this Cherry Blossom Gin Cocktail is as simple as it gets. Everything goes in the mixing glass with ice.
Stir, strain, and garnish.
For the garnish, you can keep it simple with an orange twist, but we’ve added a cherry blossom sugar rim as well.
Ingredients
-
1.5 oz (45 mL) Japanese style Gin / Kazuki Gin - Sheringham Distillery
-
1.5 oz (45 mL) Dry Vermouth / Esquimalt
-
0.25 oz (7 mL) Maraschino Liqueur / Luxardo
-
2 dashes Aromatic-ish Bitters / Rootside Bitters
-
Cherry Blossom Sugar* for rim or an orange twist
Directions
If using the sugar rim, wet the rim of your glass and then lightly place the rim into the cherry bloom sugar to garnish the glass
Add ingredients to a mixing glass and fill with ice
Stir until chilled
Strain into your fancy rimmed coupe glass
Enjoy!
