"On the Island, we are lucky to have so many great distillers close to home. This time of year, you don’t have to go too far to find something warming to share on a cool crisp evening.
Whiskies are the first thing a lot of people think of when it comes to Fall cocktails. It makes sense. Rye, bourbon, scotch – they all showcase the flavours of the season. Spicy clove, cinnamon and allspice notes play off caramel and vanilla. Whisky also works really well in a spirit forward cocktail.
Our Revery cocktail pairs Odd Society’s spicy Commodore Rye with Mia Amata Amaro, Esquimalt Vermouth and a dash of Bittered Sling Plum and Root Beer bitters. It’s a rich, full flavoured blend of wood, spice and dark fruit. Slow down a little and share it with close friends and good conversation." - Cascadia Liquor
